Setting the Stage for Honouring India’s Growth Champions 2022

The past year has been a test by fire for every institution, including business ventures. All annual plans, strategies, and norms went down the drain as enterprises hit the reset button to respond to the largescale disruptions ushered by the pandemic.

As the world bounced back from the shock, India Inc caught up as quickly as it had paused. Organisations across industries accelerated their digital transformation drives and responded to shifting consumer demands swiftly. They tried to find the silver lining of opportunities in the adverse scenario and made fundamental shifts to seize those chances to thrive.

And amid the crisis, many firms succeeded in catching the right sentiment, investing in the right innovations, and pivoted better than others. And in doing so, not only did they catapult their enterprise to the next level but also fueled the resurgence of the Indian economy and the mission of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”; taking the country’s digital economy to $85-90 billion mark by the end of 2020.

The Economic Times and Statista have come together, yet again with the third edition of India’s Growth Champions to recognise and honour such ventures and immortalize their stories. This special report will also encompass a prestigious ranking of India’s Fastest Growing Companies across sectors, which will be published in January 2022.

Companies can easily nominate themselves for this initiative by simply filling an online form. There is no registration cost involved and the ranking process is completely transparent. The selected companies that make it to the final ranking list will also get great exposure in multiple national media platforms which will further boost their exponential growth and amplify their leadership position.

In the current milieu of dynamic change, featuring in this prestigious list will magnify brand strength and can potentially open new doors and business opportunities, while bolstering their reputation, both as an employer and an enterprise.

Given below is the criteria for selecting India’s Growth Champions 2022:

  • Revenue of at least ₹ 1 crore generated in 2018 (fiscal year ending in March 2018)
  • Revenue of at least ₹10 crores generated in 2021 (fiscal year ending in March 2021)
  • Be independent (the applying company is not a subsidiary or branch office of another company)
  • Be headquartered in India
  • The revenue growth between 2018 and 2021 was primarily organic (i.e. “internally” stimulated)
