One of Fortnite’s most popular skins now has a gold-plated sibling. All the way back in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2, Agency leader Midas transfixed players with his cool look, his ability to turn basically anything into gold, and his mysterious connection to other characters. Well, like an ’80s sitcom on its way out, Fortnite has introduced a new family member for Midas.
The female Midas skin, named “Marigold,” was leaked thanks to data miners like HYPEX, but it was originally a fan design by Twitter user Kitsunexkitsu.
Yep, Marigold is definitely part of the same family as Midas, down to the chalky skin, gold irises, and milky white right eye.
Even better, much like her counterpart, Marigold’s special ability allows her to gradually turn more of her body into gold with every elimination she makes on the battlefield. Here’s a look at her final form.

How to get female Midas in Fortnite
Marigold is currently only being offered as part of the “Golden Touch Challenge Pack” in the Fortnite item shop. The bundle can be yours for $11.99 USD.
For your trouble (and cash), you’ll get the reactive Marigold outfit, which grows increasingly golden for every elimination you make. Weapons she picks up can similarly turn gold.
You’ll also get the Golden Gambit back bling, which is a large handbag bundled with bullets and sporting a golden sheen.
Then there’s the Golden Daggers pickaxes, which are exactly what they sound like. It’s like if Raphael the ninja turtle suddenly got a salary raise.
Last but certainly not least, buying the Golden Touch Challenge pack gets you access to the Golden Touch Challenges. More on that below.
How to complete the Marigold challenges
Completing the Golden Touch challenges will earn you up to 1,500 V-bucks. Thankfully, it’s almost criminally easy to do the challenges.
Once you’ve bought the pack, check your quests menu and you’ll see a new challenge with Marigold’s face pictured. Good news: The challenges are actually just asking you to complete other uncommon or rarer quests. So go through your remaining quests and find whatever appropriate challenges you prefer to complete. If for some reason you’ve completed every prior quest, you should be able to finish when the final week of Fortnite adds in one last batch of challenges.
