As we explained in our Tips and Tricks section above, sharks can smell players from up to 30 meters away, so you’ll want to work on bringing the shark towards the raft by jumping in and out of the water.
Once it’s close enough to the raft, you will want to continue jumping in and out of the water. Just as the shark is about to attack you, jump back onto the raft and quickly attempt to attack the shark with either your Spear or Machete.
