Diabetes – People who have diabetes also have obstructed sleep apnea.

Family history – If any of your family members experience the obstructed sleep apnea, the chances are high, that this may transfer to another family member.

Narrowed airways – Some people naturally have narrow airways. If you have small airways naturally, the chances are high, you will experience the obstructed sleep apnea.
