“Hospital infrastructure has been developed. The bed occupancy rate here is satisfactory with 30 per cent in Jammu and 40 per cent in Kashmir. To increase the number of oxygen-supported beds, we will set up oxygen generation plants in district hospitals, new medical colleges and associated hospitals at over 20 locations within one week,” Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education of Jammu and Kashmir Atal Duloo added.

The Delhi government on Tuesday proposed to give a financial assistance of Rs 5,000 to each of registered construction workers and formed a committee for aiding migrant workers, after a large number of them started leaving the city for home following the announcement of a week-long lockdown to contain a surge in COVID-19 cases.
