Celebrity astrologer Dr. Sundeep Kochar, known for his predictions about Deepika and Ranveer’s marriage, and Kapil Sharma’s recent comeback, has defined astrology in a rather interesting manner. Speaking about his views on how the science acts as a GPS in one’s life, he said that God has been kind to him in his 19 years of journey with astrology.
Believing himself to be the chosen one for helping and enlightening people with his knowledge, he said, “Astrology has divine signs and it acts a tool which helps a person know about their nature, character, weaknesses, strengths, potential and most importantly, time.”
“Astrology is around 5,000 years old. The calculations and impact of planets on the human mind, psychology, and life are what the sages unraveled without machines or tools,” he added.
A science based on planetary motion, astrology defines the path for every individual’s life. The position of planets at birth is a direct sign of how an individual’s journey will pan out. Speaking about the precise nature of astrology, Dr Kochar said, “Whenever we see a horoscope and reveal the position of the planets, if you call NASA and find out the position of planets at that time, you will be surprised to know that they will give you the same degrees as we see in our horoscope. So, this is how it is related to astronomy and the prediction is where astrology comes into the picture.”
From the very beginning, Dr. Sundeep Kochar, a best astrologer in India was intrigued and interested in stars and planets. He was referred to as a young philosopher by his uncles, Dr. Kochar revealed to Indoindians, a YouTube channel. The fact that some people were driving luxury cars, while some were riding bicycles and not able to feed their families, also brought him closer to learning why things like these happen.
Moreover, it was his love for cricket that surprisingly shaped his career as an astrologer. When he could not make it big in gentlemen’s game, he wanted to infer the reason behind it. Increasing interest and clear answers brought him closer to astrology.
“I wanted to play cricket for India. It was my dream, but I had to leave the sport. It was a calling and I started learning astrology not to make it my profession but to know myself, my journey, and why my dream didn’t come true. But, now I understand why it happened. When I see my horoscope, I see it belongs to an astrologer who can understand people and life. The placement of planets, which is not visible to the naked eye, has maximum impact on one’s mind, body, and life,” Sundeep Kochar further said.
When asked about people’s perception of present-day astrologers, he clearly denied the notion of astrologers changing someone’s life. Unlike what it seems on the outer surface, and what money-minded people have been preaching, astrology is rather a torch that helps people understand the direction their life is going in.
“Astrologers cannot change someone’s life. The irony is that it has become a business of fear and lies because of Kali Yuga. More fear can generate more money. No man has the power to change anyone’s life, it is one’s journey and the destination is decided,” he said.
Dr. Kochar further explained, “We are just following a well-crafted movie script, the purpose of astrology is to see what situation you are in… the position of the planets changes your mind, it changes the way you think. That is why we call shani ki dasha, guru ki dasha. Dasha is the state of mind that is the influence of planets which keep on changing. People change approaches with time, it is because of the placements of planets in their horoscope (Janam Kundli).”
“Astrologers can be your best friend for life,” said Dr. Kochar. With the young generation becoming intelligent when it comes to choices, but lacking wisdom, astrologers can help them realize what they are doing. “… When an astrologer will tell them about their behavior, the person will start asking questions like ‘who am I?’, he or she will reconsider their conduct and decisions.” This in itself, is the first step towards transformation into their better selves.
The science of astrology is deeply rooted in the Indian culture. “The Sanskrit word Jyotish also breaks down to Jyoti (light) and ish (god), meaning the light of God,” explains celebrity astrologer Dr. Sundeep Kochar. It has the power to change a person’s perspective on life, and most importantly, it can bring a positive change in their attitude, health, and overall well-being.
